Re: The (Not So) Subtle Racism of the Draft Bill by Yaakov Menken

Wow This menken fellow is the most offensive of the lot. The hatefulness of his condensing words towards the Sephardic community is breath taking.
I am not skilled enough to supply a well reasoned reply to such utter nonsense based on his charidie revisionist history but i will note that if indeed the sfardic boys are sent to fill the draft quota it will be a result of the moraly bankrupt charadie leadership not dov lipmans tests

  1. My comment which, of course, won't get published:

Yes, you did compare those who disagree with you to Amalek. It's like if I were to say that I hope you try to eat your matzos at the Seder like Rav Yair Hoffman recommends and then say that anyone who tries to eat that much matzah that fast is likely to choke, oh but by the way I never said I hoped you'd choke!

Then there's your endorsement of Rav Shmuel Auerbach, until recently the black sheep of the world for daring to defy Ravs Shteinman and Kanievsky. Then he advises people to disobey the law and he's a hero again! What kind of community admires people like that?

Dina d'malchusa dina is clearly not in the Chareidi law books or do we say "Our interests" are docheh actual halachic rules?
