> Logic dictates that a core curriculum – take it or get defunded – might be allowed to include, under a different political constellation, Tanach, Talmud, Halachah, and Mussar…
And perhaps if the Chareidi parties had approached Yesh Ativ with concrete suggestions about how to add Torah to the public system while adding math and science to their system instead of screaming "Nazi! Cossack! Son of an illegitimate woman!" that might have happened.

That's an incredible statement which flies in the face of actual facts. Do you even know the details of the current "Employment bill"? Some people call it "equal service", but to anyone who knows the details, it's anything but. And more than anything else it's an opportunity for this community to avoid succumbing to the litany of ills you listed. It's actually your attitude, of shooting a messenger you, irrationally, despise rather than accepting, what reasonable people *in your own community* know to be, the necessary message to davka prevent all those things you fear happening. But one has to wonder if you'd rather cut off your nose and create a self-fulfilling prophecy rather than constructively move forward with the "wrong" person.
Your final statement above is pure Loshon Hora. You have no idea what's in his mind, but reasonable people who've met with him would certainly take issue with that characterization.
And I would think, as a teacher, you'd know the difference between "listening" to someone in "fora" and actual dialog. It's such a shame that so many of you would rather fly with your preconceived notions than challenge them. (Ask Rabbi Adlerstein about it.)

Got a couple in, but this one didn't make it:
